Tubbataha Rangers Meets Palau Counterparts

(Center) Segundo Conales Jr. and Jeffrey David with the Palau rangers
Two of Tubbatataha Reefs marine park rangers, Segundo Conales Jr. and Jeffrey David share lessons and experiences with fellow practitioners in Palau. The weeklong visit enables professional exchanges between enforcers from different areas in order to glean new approaches and methods of biodiversity conservation.
The visit is part of the capacity building program for field personnel in Tubbataha organized by the Tubbataha Management Office in coordination with the Association of Palawan Conservation Officers based in Koror State, Palau. This activity was funded by the Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc., who has been supporting Tubbataha’s conservation since 2007.
